Manitou Beach Chainsaw Carving Festival 2023

The Manitou Chainsaw Competition will be held at the Resort Village of Manitou Beach Hall – 217 Watrous Street from August 10-13.

This bi-annual event will feature some extremely talented and experienced carvers from across Canada. The competition will be fierce - all carvers will be creating a 2 hour quick -carve piece that the general public can bid on and win. (Silent Auction) The 3 day carving event continues with each carver gradually revealing a fully completed artistic wooden creation.

The weekend of events include an axe throwing competition – sign up and claim bragging rights! Also there will be wood whittling demonstrations, water boiling contest, a bouncy castle, dunk tank, face painting and more. Check out the beer gardens & food trucks that will be serving up delicious food items or pop by our other food and merchandise vendors.
